In awe of this. Was going to point out horizontal shifting from the road to line it up but then I saw that the sign was parrallel, so refrained.
Hard to critique perfection. I have no idea who you are but subconsciously, you have become my mentor. When in awe, it is hard to type, and hard to speak such for open mouths. Again, with your photographs, one can say, "...I wish I'd have taken that." And that is where I shall leave this critique and click aimlessly around my tabs before hopefuly ending up on the one that directs me to and allows me to buy it as a print.
I love this, the contrast between th light of the theater and the dark of the street is really interesting. It is very reminiscent of Hopper's "Nighthawks" for me, only a little bit more warm and less bleak. that and it's not a painting (obviously). The two figures standing underneath the sign hint at a story, almost like this is a snapshot of a movie. At the same time however, it manages to have a detached onlooker feel to it (but just a bit). Again, this is great. I would have done a critique, but I don't have a premium membership -_-". Looking forward to what you do next!
