Nice work! You seemed to have captured a little piece of 'real life'. It's not sunny, the pavements aren't clear, the old car isn't a 1970s Porsche - it's reality. It's city life, and in an unexpected way, I'd say it's a beautiful photo. The bike and the car are both old fashioned. This works really well because it draws interest in the way that a Ford Focus and a Ridgeback wouldn't. I like the litter, the dull grey and brown colours, the fallen leaves, the overcast skies and the graffiti. Like said above^, it's real and it gives character. The photo makes me think of a dilapidated house and abandonment. Everything seems stuck in the past; if you were walking down this street you'd feel the wind on your face, hear your footsteps, maybe see the wind blow up some leaves. The way that the photo is obviously still gives it this air of being stuck in the past, an abandoned street. I love that as well. It's quite nostalgic. I also like the angle you've shot from. If a pavement has a perspective, this would probably be it. The one thing that annoys be a little is the slab of textured concrete in the bottom left corner - because it's the only thing in the photo that doesn't work perfectly. It breaks up the lines of the vanishing point and it's a bit out of focus. I know this can't be helped though - otherwise, a fantastic shot!
Beautiful! The complexity of geometry, color, atmosphere, imagery...everything .... Is amazing! Not sure you framed it like that, but your eye for the image is incredible! Good job.
